For 2008 Rinker had really out done themselves. They have improved upon the stout Rinker 41 by upgrading to 8.1L HO sterndrives. Many people scoff at stern drives vs. the traditional inboards but there are some very good reasons to change. Most importantly the stern drives provide a far superior top speed and while at lower speeds deliver outstanding fuel economy.
Inboards without any doubt are better for close quarter maneuvering but Rinker has eliminated this issue by throwing in a bow thruster. Combine this with the Merc Digital Throttle control and you have a winning combination.
